Examination structure

Two parts. One controlled 300-minute window.

The assessment combines financial modelling knowledge and judgement with an integrated practical case.

Part A · 90 minutes · 50 marks

40 questions: 30 standard application MCQs worth one mark each and 10 calculation or case-based MCQs worth two marks each.

  • Server-controlled timer and automatic saving
  • Move between questions and flag for review
  • Answers lock on final submission or time expiry

Controlled break · 15 minutes

Part B becomes available only at the authorised time after the fixed break.

Part B · 180 minutes + 15-minute upload window

Candidates receive the assigned case brief and student workbook, then submit a completed Excel model, one-page CFO recommendation PDF, and declaration.
